Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Operations Manager for the Ruskin, FL Fulfillment Center to oversee budgetary, people development, and operational objectives.

You will coach and mentor a team of Operations and Area Managers, drive Lean initiatives, and balance operational excellence with leadership development to achieve performance targets. Key duties include leading quality improvements, ensuring safety and customer experience, and collaborating with HR, Finance, and Facilities to secure resources for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years direct management experience in manufacturing, production or distribution.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques.
• Experience with full staffing lifecycle: interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and termination.

Responsibilities

• Drives quality initiatives and Lean processes to meet/exceed business plans.
• Oversees safety, quality, and customer experience for inbound or outbound operations.
• Sets clear requirements for Operations and Area Managers and measures performance.
• Leverages staff to generate improvement plans and ensure best practices are shared across departments.
