Job summary

ODW Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to lead large-volume operations, drive safety, customer relations and P&L. You will guide continuous improvement projects, supervise staff development and partner with clients on business growth initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of management experience, strong leadership, and solid proficiency in Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems. This role emphasizes cross-functional coordination and strategic operations oversight.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years management experience.
• Previous Management Experience for a Third-Party Logistics Provider.
• College Degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Expert in Warehouse Management Systems.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads, implements, coordinates best practices, technology enhancements, cost effective operational solutions, start-up, transfers, continuous improvement and account projects.
• Maximizes productivity, quality, and service throughout operations by utilizing best practice techniques in facilities layout, methods, material handling concepts, technological enhancements, and measurements.
• Creates, coordinates, monitors and reports on business plan objectives vs. actual results and reports to Senior Management and/or clients as required.
• Enables front-line leaders to grow and develop associates and develops an eye for talent and attracts and retains
• Ensures safety and efficiency throughout the operation according to customer and employer procedures.
• Delights and responds to customer inquiries and serves as the continuous and professional point of contact for customer relations. Heavily involved in business development and contracts.
