Job summary

Barrett Distribution Centers, Inc. is seeking a Director of Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership across assigned facilities. You will own P&L, drive performance, safety, and service, and lead General Managers to ensure execution and cost-effective operations.

This on-site role runs Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a compensation range of $210K-$225K per year. MBA and Lean Six Sigma are preferred; multisite P&L experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or other related field; MBA preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
• 8-10 years of progressive operations, supply chain, or logistics leadership, including multi-site leadership.
• Experience in 3PL, large-scale fulfillment, or distribution.
• Proven track record owning multi-site P&L (> $20M).
• Experience establishing and managing KPIs and SLAs (OTIF, cost per unit, safety incident rate, labor productivity).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; working knowledge of WMS, TMS, ERP; Synapse WMS preferred.
• English reading/writing; bilingual preferred.
• Strong executive presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to balance priorities and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Own P&L and accountability for facilities.
• Lead General Managers to drive execution and cost targets.
• Establish and monitor KPIs/SLAs and report to the RVP Operations.
• Standardize processes; champion WMS/TMS adoption.
• Escalate client issues; coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Oversee safety culture; Lean/Six Sigma programs.
• Develop and retain facility leadership; conduct site reviews.
• Communicate with leadership and customers; GGOB program.
