Job summary

Barrett Distribution Centers, Inc. is seeking a General Manager to oversee overall operation and facilities, reporting to the Regional VP of Operations. You will drive efficiency, revenue growth, client relations, and organizational image while meeting growth objectives.

The role requires leadership across staffing, safety, budgeting, and customer service, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8am to 5pm. Compensation ranges from $160K to $175K depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
• Ten+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Experience with inventory control, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications; experience with 3PL warehouse operations and Synapse WMS preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal English; bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all business activities of the operation and facility(s).
• Provide daily oversight and strategic vision; communicate objectives to staff.
• Lead budgeting, P&L, and KPI reporting; drive cost efficiency and revenue growth.
• Manage client relationships and quality control; resolve escalations.
• Promote safe, compliant, and organized warehouse operations and culture.
• Develop staff, hiring, onboarding, and training of warehouse personnel.
• Maintain regular communication of goals and updates to staff.
