Job summary

Apple is seeking a Senior Operations Program Manager within the Responsible AI team to own partnerships, vendor relationships, and data operations behind our Safety Evaluation and Red Teaming programs. You will scale human-labeled data, workforce, and localization infrastructure across products and markets.

You will manage external vendor partnerships and internal annotation operations, scope statements of work, budgets, and performance, ensuring scalable processes and reliable risk coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in vendor/partner management, data operations, or program management.
• Experience managing external vendor relationships and internal annotation operations at scale.
• Experience scaling human-labeled data pipelines, dataset creation, quality calibration, storage and governance.
• Experience across multiple international markets with multilingual vendor workforces.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams to close feedback loops.
• Experience owning documentation and translating needs into tooling roadmaps.
• Strong strategic thinking on operational tradeoffs with multiple initiatives.
• Proven track record managing budgets and vendor relationships at scale.
• Proficiency with data tools (SQL, spreadsheets/BI) to track metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Apple's relationship with internal crowd and external vendor partners for evaluation, red-teaming, and data generation.
• Own resourcing, scoping, and execution of statements of work, workforce calibration, and quality audits.
• Ensure partnerships scale reliably as safety evaluation needs grow across products and markets.
• Own the feedback loop and connect Red-Teaming, Evaluation, and Post-Ship Insights groups.
• Establish processes for reporting, syncing, and tracking across functions.
• Shape tools and infrastructure roadmap; document processes and data flows across functions.
• Prioritize tooling investments with engineering; translate operational needs into builds.
• Drive scaling of data infrastructure for human-labeled goldsets and localization across languages and markets.
