Job summary

SendCutSend Inc in Reno, NV seeks an Assistant Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day facility operations across receiving, production, post-production, finishing, quality, shipping, maintenance, safety, and facilities.

You will work closely with the Director of Operations to ensure priorities are executed, departments stay aligned, and daily operations meet safety, quality, productivity, and customer service expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coach leaders and drive accountability.
• Experience using production data to identify performance gaps and drive improvement.

Responsibilities

• Execute established production plans, maintenance priorities, safety initiatives, facility needs, and operational expectations.
• Maintain regular floor presence across departments and shifts to understand production status and resource needs.
• Monitor daily operational performance, including output, throughput, labor utilization, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate activities between departments to improve workflow and handoffs.
• Identify bottlenecks and coordinate responses to minimize disruption.
• Support facility readiness and coordinate with vendors for service needs.
• Reinforce safety requirements and drive continuous improvement.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Operations Management
