Job summary

SendCutSend is seeking an Assistant Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day facility operations across receiving, production, post-production, finishing, quality, shipping, maintenance, safety, and facilities. You will work closely with the Director of Operations to ensure production priorities are executed and safety and quality standards are maintained.

This hands-on leadership role requires floor presence, practical problem solving, and strong communication to align multiple departments,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, production, or operations.
• Experience leading Supervisors, Managers, or multiple operational teams.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, production processes, quality standards, and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Directors and department leaders to execute production plans, maintenance priorities, safety initiatives, facility needs, and operational expectations.
• Maintain floor presence to understand production status, equipment conditions, safety concerns, and resource requirements.
• Monitor daily operational performance including output, throughput, labor utilization, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Address daily performance gaps with Managers and Supervisors and implement timely corrective actions.
• Coordinate activities between departments and shifts to improve workflow and handoffs.
