Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise branch Operations Coordinators’ daily job duties and functions
• Assist in the selection and training of new Operations Coordinators
• Coach Operations Coordinator on job performance
• Work with Operations Manager on annual reviews and evaluations
• Investigate complaints and provide information to internal and external customers
• Coordinate with Legal and HR staff, managers, and supervisors regarding incidents and procedures
• Assist with communicating information to technicians (schedules, routes, conditions)
• Handle customer call-ins and update customers on delivery times
• Keep Operations Manager updated on issues and resolutions
• Support technicians telephonically during emergencies
• Coordinate with customer service and account managers on scheduling
• Review technicians’ manifests and ensure policies are complied with
• Conduct route check-in audits and resolve discrepancies
• Sequence routes, pickups and deliveries daily
• Ensure highest level of customer service for all customers
• Perform other duties as assigned
