Job summary

CSA Global Logistics is seeking a Senior Operations Coordinator in Miami to lead multimodal shipments and optimize ocean freight operations. You will oversee end-to-end execution, coordinate with carriers and brokers, and ensure impeccable documentation and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong organization, multitasking, and bilingual communication in English and Spanish, with collaboration across Sales, Trading, Finance and Logistics teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4–5 years in logistics/freight forwarding.
• Ocean freight forwarding and multimodal transport experience.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping regulations.
• Experience with TMS (Cargoo) and ERP (Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strong MS Office and Excel skills.

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Operations Coordinator to join our global logistics team in Miami. This role is ideal for a logistics professional with strong freight forwarding expertise who thrives in a fast-paced international environment. You will play a key role in planning, executing, and optimizing multimodal commodity shipments while ensuring exceptional service for clients and logistics partners worldwide.

What You'll Be Doing

• Plan and execute multimodal shipments, with a strong focus on ocean freight operations
• Monitor shipments from origin to destination, proactively resolving delays and operational issues
• Coordinate with carriers, port operators, customs brokers, and other logistics partners
• Manage shipping documentation and ensure compliance with international trade regulations
• Maintain strong relationships with carriers and logistics service providers
• Support carrier negotiations and evaluate service performance to optimize cost and service levels
• Provide clients with regular shipment updates and resolve operational inquiries promptly
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Trading, Finance, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless execution
• Utilize Cargoo TMS and Microsoft Dynamics ERP for shipment management and documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with company policies, shipping regulations, and industry best practices

Who We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Alternatively, 4-5 years of relevant logistics and freight forwarding experience
• Strong experience in ocean freight forwarding and multimodal transportation
• Knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs processes, and Incoterms
• Experience working with Transport Management Systems (TMS), preferably Cargoo
• Experience using ERP platforms, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Fluent English and Spanish, both written and spoken
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
• Professional logistics or freight forwarding certifications are an advantage
