Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to analyze and resolve day-to-day issues in a business unit, develop procedures, and deliver complex analytics. The role supports process improvements and reports on operational performance.

The Senior Operations Analyst collaborates with SMEs and leadership to implement updated processes, trains staff, and ensures compliance with industry rules. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with a standard hybrid in-office/remote

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of check processing experience preferred, familiar with check processing workflows and regulatory requirements.
• At least 1 year of check storage/retention experience preferred with related workflows.
• Understanding of check processing laws and regulations (e.g., Reg CC, UCC, Reg J).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Proven ability to support rollout of new or updated processes, including change communication and adoption strategies.
• Experience in training development and delivery for different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation for products, services, and operational solutions.
• Design, document, implement, and monitor new products and services.
• Consult on procedural, technical, and operational changes.
• Advance product knowledge within operations environment.
• Prepare, coordinate, and deliver staff training on processes and procedures.
• Review and resolve requests and exceptions using established procedures.
• Draft clear procedures aligned with laws and regulations.
