Job summary

Maximus is seeking a POTFF Psychological Domain Lead to provide senior clinical, technical, and programmatic leadership across POTFF domains. This role supports U.S. Special Operations Forces personnel and their families by integrating clinical psychology, operational psychology, behavioral health, resilience, assessment and selection, and performance optimization services.

The position is contingent on contract award. U.S. citizenship and a Secret clearance or eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 7-10 years of relevant professional experience required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
• PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Completion of an APA-accredited internship or residency.
• Current, unrestricted psychology license in at least one U.S. state.
• Minimum seven years post-doctoral experience in related environments.
• Two years in performance enhancement, executive coaching, organizational assessment or personnel selection.
• Experience administering diverse psychological assessment instruments.
• Experience supporting behavioral health, resilience, suicide prevention, and crisis response initiatives.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, analytical, and executive-level stakeholder communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, EHRs, databases, and clinical/program reporting systems.
• U.S. citizen per contract requirements.
• Active Secret security clearance or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and planning activities.
• Oversee large multi-project programs including planning, staffing, and control of activities.
• Create and update project work plans to changing needs.
• Identify resources and assign responsibilities.
• Maintain master/resource plans and required documents.
• Baseline projects and forecast LoE using metrics.
• Review team-delivered outputs before management/customer delivery.
• Apply PMI standards and enforce project controls.
• Prepare for engagement reviews and QA procedures.
• Minimize risk exposure on projects.
• Communicate project information to management and stakeholders.
• Resolve issues promptly considering project impact.
• Ensure project documents are complete and stored securely.
• Capture and apply lessons learned across projects.
• Close out projects properly.
• Supervise staff with direction and feedback.
• Escalate and prioritize workloads as needed.
• Liaise with vendor(s) for performance and system changes.
• Draft vendor contracts and RFPs; lead continuous improvement.
