Job summary

JLL in Nashville, TN is seeking a Senior Operating Engineer to uphold reliable operation, maintenance, and optimization of facilities for our Tennessee client. You will ensure building systems run efficiently, safely, and in alignment with operational goals, leveraging HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical expertise.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, CMMS work orders, energy-efficiency improvements, and coordination with vendors and client representatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in building engineering, facilities maintenance, or related technical operations.
• Hands-on experience with commercial HVAC, pumps, motors, air handlers, and controls.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills with adherence to codes and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues to minimize downtime.
• Use CMMS to manage work orders and document maintenance activities.
