Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced OpenShift Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and operate enterprise-grade Red Hat OpenShift clusters across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will own the platform lifecycle, from provisioning to ongoing operations, partnering with security and infrastructure teams to deliver a stable, secure container platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 8+ years in production container platforms, including 3+ years on OpenShift.
• Deep Kubernetes/OpenShift internals knowledge: RBAC, CRDs, networking.
• Strong Linux administration, networking, and troubleshooting.
• IaC tooling: Ansible, Terraform, or Helm.
• CI/CD pipelines on OpenShift/Kubernetes using Tekton, Jenkins, or Argo CD.
• Scripting in Bash, Python, or Go.
• Experience with monitoring, logging and tracing tools.
• Security and container image supply chain hardening.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and operate OpenShift clusters across on‑prem and cloud environments.
• Design multi‑tenant platforms with project isolation, network policies, RBAC.
• Automate cluster lifecycle: install, upgrade, scale, decommission.
• Onboard dev teams with self-service patterns and templates.
• Manage OpenShift networking, ingress, and firewall integration.
• Handle OpenShift storage and data foundation integration.
• Implement observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and EFK/Tempo stacks.
• Harden platform with image scanning and runtime protections.
• Create CI/CD pipelines using Tekton, Jenkins, GitLab, or Argo Workflows.
• Develop disaster recovery and backup strategies with drills.
• Plan and perform cluster upgrades with validation and rollback.
• Collaborate with teams to right-size workloads and tune autoscaling.
• Mentor engineers and share OpenShift SME expertise.
