Job summary

Horizon Media in New York is seeking a Senior OOH Strategist to lead planning & negotiation for out-of-home media, drafting department POVs, and stewarding campaigns from initial RFPs to final delivery. You will manage vendor relationships, ensure accuracy of documentation, and collaborate with internal teams to meet client objectives.

The role emphasizes staying current on OOH trends, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to Horizon’s data-driven approach within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years media planning and buying experience.
• BA/BS Degree or relevant work experience.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Understanding of GRPs, ROI, reach and frequency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present strategically focused plans and recommendations.
• Negotiate OOH media buys and issue RFPs to vendors.
• Oversee media posting to campaigns and ensure timely approvals.
• Mentor junior team members and guide planning processes.
• Stay up to date on OOH trends and vendor offerings.
