Horizon Media in New York City is seeking an experienced team leader to oversee digital media strategy, planning, and buying across national campaigns. You will guide junior staff, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure plans meet client KPIs and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in advertising/marketing environment.
• 5 years digital media experience with active buying; direct client experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills and media industry relationships.
• Strong grasp of channels and buying methods (video, display, programmatic, social).
• Mastery of third-party ad server and ad verifications (DCM, DoubleVerify, Innovid preferred).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and media buying tools.
• Leadership and supervisory experience in developing media professionals.
• National video buying experience required.
• Familiarity with marketing principles, analytics and concepts.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to present and sell ideas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee team creating media plans, buy documents, and strategy decks.
• Lead digital media strategy development and client presentations.
• Coordinate with Horizon account teams to implement strategy.
• Negotiate and manage partner relationships and campaigns.
• Monitor market trends and optimize campaigns across channels.
• Provide client-facing insights into buying strategy and performance.
