Job summary

IES Communications in Chandler, AZ seeks a General Superintendent for large/complex projects in telecommunications. You will oversee safety, quality, staffing, materials management, and financial performance to meet customer delivery goals.

This role requires travel, proficiency in IESOS, daily planning, fiber/cabling standards, terminations, and bare fiber; lead project staff and coordinate with on-site customer representatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Minimum three years as a Lead Communications Technician or similar position.
• Minimum five years in telecommunications or related technical/construction field.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and manage project staff per policy.
• Plan for and monitor project profitability and deadlines.
• Serve as on-site liaison for customer representatives.
• Lead meetings and training sessions.
• Review job costs, invoices, and financial reporting to customers and management.
• Oversee tooling, vehicle inventory, and maintenance.
• Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to budgets.
