Job summary

Strategic Staffing Solutions in Topeka, KS is seeking a Sr. PC Technician for a 24-month contract. Responsibilities include delivery, installation, configuration, testing, and production support of new endpoint devices for a Windows-based environment.

The technician will be central to the customer site and may travel to other KS/MO locations as needed. Onsite work is required; W2 contract engagement with benefits provided, pay rate $24-$26/hour.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Windows, Mac OS, iOS and Android devices.
• 2+ years experience supporting multiple operating systems.
• Hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unboxing devices and materials as necessary.
• Performing required pre-deployment device testing.
• Recording device serial numbers into CMDB for workstation inventory.
• Communicating with end users by email, instant messages, or by phone.
• Delivering and deploying endpoint devices to end users’ desks and ensuring required software is installed.
• Updating end user service tickets (ServiceNow) throughout deployment.
• Attending status meetings and team calls.
