Clark College seeks experienced Superintendents to oversee field operations for commercial construction projects in Central Michigan. You will lead day-to-day site activities, coordinate trade contractors, and ensure work progresses safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and process development skills.
• Proficiency with data automation tools and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate subcontractors to align with plans, specs, and schedule.
• Establish field priorities and develop execution strategies with look-ahead schedules.
• Direct day-to-day site activities, managing subcontractors, vendors, and craft labor.
• Enforce safety standards and stop work to prevent accidents.
• Monitor work for safety, quality, and specifications; address deviations.
• Maintain accurate records including daily reports and material logs.
• Review subcontractor pay applications and assess change orders for budget impact.
• Lead or participate in site meetings, sharing progress with owners and stakeholders.
• Track delivery, inspect, storage and maintenance of equipment and materials on-site.
