Job summary
Ayres Associates is seeking a Senior Computer Technician to deliver primary on-site technology support for the Tampa and Melbourne offices and to mentor the Helpdesk team. The role focuses on resolving complex incidents, guiding technicians, and driving advanced technology projects with a strong emphasis on AI-enabled support and documentation.
Ideal candidates have Level 3 support experience, capability to manage confidential information, and comfort leading by example in a fast-paced
Qualifications
- Five or more years IT support, resolving Level 3 incidents.
- Experience with AI tools in IT support and automation.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and travel to remote offices.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
- Diagnose issues with on-premises and remote devices.
- Provide guidance to users, clients, and partners per policies.
- Lead or contribute to advanced technology projects.
- Escalate and document incidents ensuring timely resolution.
- Coach and mentor Helpdesk technicians on knowledge base use.
- Maintain software licenses and participate in evaluations.
- Travel to remote offices as scheduled for support.
