Job summary

ELEVI Associates is seeking an onsite data center technician in Texas to support daily operations. You will monitor the data center, respond to amber lights and hot doors, escort dispatched field engineers, and maintain runbooks and equipment inventories.

Required: PowerEdge rack/tower experience, iDRAC, and RHEL/Ubuntu in a large server environment; nice-to-have: PowerEdge XE. Training via Dell XE Server program. Salary range 85,000–100,000 USD annually.

Qualifications

• PowerEdge rack/tower experience required.
• IDRAC experience required.
• RHEL and Ubuntu OS in a large server environment required.
• Experience in a large data center environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day data center activities.
• Monitor data center operations and alert on amber lights and hot doors.
• Escort dispatched field engineers when needed.
• LOIS parts management to be trained onsite.
• Maintain environment documentation: serials, elevations, runbooks.
• Coordinate with customer for maintenance activities (power, cooling, containment).
• Perform BIOS lifecycle management, add users, and apply patches.
• Triage with Dell support to schedule FSE break/fix activities.
• Update software/versions as directed by the customer team.
