Job summary

ELEVI is seeking a Senior Implementation Specialist/PowerEdge Engineer to join our Marietta, GA team on a full-time, onsite basis. You will support daily data center activities, monitor operations, and coordinate with Dell for break/fix events.

Required skills include PowerEdge Rack/Tower, IDRAC, RHEL and Ubuntu OS, plus experience in large server environments. Training via Dell XE Server may be provided; relocation is not mentioned.

Qualifications

• Must have PowerEdge Rack/Tower, IDRAC, RHEL and Ubuntu OS expertise.
• Experience in a larger data center/server environment.
• Onsite in Marietta, GA; no remote options.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day data center activities.
• Proactively monitor the data center and alert customers to amber lights, hot doors, and other issues.
• Escort dispatched field engineers when applicable.
• LOIS parts management (training provided on-site).
• Maintain documentation of the environment: serial numbers, elevations, runbooks, etc.
• Coordinate with the customer for maintenance activities (power, cooling, containment).
• Perform BIOS lifecycle management and user provisioning.
• Triage with Dell support for scheduling FSE break/fix activities.
• Update versions as directed by the customer team.
• Resource must be onsite 5 days a week.

Must have skills: PowerEdge Rack/Tower Experience, IDRAC experience, RHEL and Ubuntu OS, Experience working in a larger server environment

Nice to have skills: PowerEdge XE server experience

Scope:

• Support day to day data center activities
• Proactively walk the data center through the day, watching/alerting customer of amber lights, "hot" doors etc.
• Escort dispatched field engineers (when applicable)
• LOIS parts management (will be trained once onsite)
• Maintain documentation of the environment: serial numbers, elevations, runbooks, etc.
• Coordinate with customer for any maintenance activities: power maintenance, cooling maintenance, containment wall maintenance, etc.
• Performs BIOS lifecycle management, adding users, patching
• Triage with Dell support for scheduling FSE break/fix activities
• Works at the direction of the customer team to update versions as needed
• Resource must be onsite 5 days - there are no exceptions

Training: Required to complete the Dell XE Server training via TechDirect.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
