Job summary

Consigli Construction 1 is seeking a full-time Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities, manage self-perform work, subcontractors, and consultants, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence at the project site.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in construction management with 5+ years of field experience, OSHA certifications, and strong CPM knowledge. You will oversee budgets, subcontractor compliance, and coordination with stakeholders to deliver projects on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management with at least 5 years of field experience.
• Understands building plans and specs.
• OSHA 10 Certification required; OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
• CSL preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of corporate safety standards.
• Working knowledge of CPM schedule and cost reports.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Administer project safety program to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Oversee on-site construction activities including self-perform work, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Manage project budget, schedule, quality, and site safety per contract requirements.
• Develop and implement a site-specific safety plan for each project assigned.
• Verify subcontractors have valid contracts and insurance certificates prior to work.
• Serve as OSHA competent person for various tasks or designate others.
• Preplan operations to optimize safety and efficiency; address hazards promptly.
• Supervise construction efforts to meet plans and specifications.
• Interpret contract drawings and submittals, and develop construction methods accordingly.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and supplies for self-perform work.
• Create the Site-Specific Quality Plan (SSQP) and manage quality efforts.
• Complete onsite material verification as required for the project.
• Assist in budgeting, cost-to-complete, and change documentation.
