Job summary

Consigli Construction 1 is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to help with daily on-site management of construction activities on the project site. Reporting to the Superintendent & General Superintendent, you will oversee safety, quality, and coordination.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, 0–5 years of experience, knowledge of plans and safety standards, and OSHA 30. On-site leadership and proactive problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preference for Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• 0–5 years of construction field experience or similar.
• Understands building plans and specifications.
• Knowledge of safety standards and enforcement.
• OSHA 30 required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in on-site daily management of construction activities.
• Help administer project safety program to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Provide technical assistance on the project, interpret drawings and submittals.
• Manage self-perform and subcontractor operations including safety, budget, and schedule.
• Assist Superintendent with daily reports, safety walks, quantity reports, and schedule updates.
• Understand project schedule and critical path.
• Review and contribute to the short-term plan.
• Participate in the quality program with inspections and material verification.
• Interface professionally with client reps, A/E reps, and other contractors.
• Participate in business development and lead generation on current projects.
