Exelixis is seeking a Senior Oncology Account Manager in the United States, Alabama region. You will lead strategic account planning, mentor peers, and advance compliant engagement with healthcare professionals while driving cross-functional initiatives.

You will cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, leverage market insights, and execute launches and pilots across a dynamic territory, all while upholding integrity and performance standards.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in related discipline with 9 years of related experience; or
• Master’s degree in related discipline with 7 years of related experience; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic execution across a complex territory or multi-state geography with sustained commercial impact.
• Expand relationships with healthcare providers and build relations with influential stakeholders to educate on Exelixis therapies and ensure appropriate use.
• Use analytics and market insights to refine territory strategy and inform internal planning.
• Partner cross-functionally to deliver coordinated solutions addressing clinical, operational, and access challenges.
• Represent field perspectives in brand planning and contribute to tactical innovation.
• Identify trends, competitive threats, and unmet needs within the territory.
• Model excellence in compliance, professionalism, and ethical engagement.
• Lead pull-through initiatives with access and reimbursement teams.
• Serve as a field-based ambassador for launches, pilots, and strategic initiatives.
• Cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders and institutional decision-makers.
• Support regional leadership in business planning, training, and performance calibration.
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices.
