Exelixis is seeking a Senior Oncology Account Manager to lead strategic efforts in a remote, national geography. You will manage complex account plans, expand relationships with healthcare providers, and mentor peers, driving compliant engagement and cross-functional initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years of oncology sales experience, launch experience, and strong KOL/institutional engagement. Travel up to 50% may be involved as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of oncology sales experience.
• Launch experience required.
• Ability to manage relationships with KOLs, IDNs, and institutional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic execution across a complex territory or multi-state geography.
• Expand relationships with healthcare providers and key stakeholders to increase knowledge of Exelixis oncology therapies.
• Leverage analytics and market insights to refine territory strategy and influence internal planning.
• Partner cross-functionally to address clinical, operational, and access challenges.
• Represent field perspectives in brand planning discussions and contribute to tactical innovation.
• Identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and unmet needs within the territory.
• Model excellence in compliance and ethical engagement.
• Lead strategic pull-through initiatives with access and reimbursement teams.
• Serve as a field-based ambassador for new product launches and pilots.
• Cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders and institutional decision-makers.
• Support regional leadership in business planning and performance calibration.
• Mentor and share best practices with junior team members.

Education

BS/BA in related discipline

Master’s degree in related discipline
