Job summary

Bicara Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to serve as the field-based medical and scientific expert for the company, focusing on engagement with healthcare providers to provide fair and balanced education on investigational products, understanding the evolving therapeutic landscape, and supporting research collaborations across the portfolio.

This role covers a west territory including CA and WA, with approximately 60-70% domestic travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years in Pharmaceutical Industry Medical Affairs as MSL/Sr. MSL.
• Advanced degree (M.D., Ph.D. or Pharm.D.) preferred with biotech/pharma education background.
• Willingness to travel up to 65% of time due to large territory.
• Knowledge of treatment guidelines (NCCN, ASCO, ESMO) and FDA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with investigators, institutions, groups and consortia.
• Educate medical community on investigational products and disease areas of focus.
• Increase company visibility among oncology leaders and healthcare professionals.
• Participate in medical education for healthcare professionals and formulary committees.
• Work with clinical sites to ensure education and training is provided.
• Identify clinical research opportunities aligned with company objectives.
• Coordinate investigator-initiated research from concept to publication.
