Job summary

Takeda seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison to join the Oncology Field Medical team in the United States. This field-based role covers WA, OR, ID, MT and WY, engaging with key opinion leaders to exchange scientific information non-promotively and support life-cycle management of Takeda Oncology medicines.

You will develop territory engagement plans, provide medical insights, collaborate across internal partners, and participate in medical conferences.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or healthcare degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of healthcare, clinical, or related experience.
• Experience in Oncology is required.
• CRC and Lung therapeutic area experience is preferred.
• Other Solid Tumor experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Engage with key opinion leaders and external stakeholders in alignment with medical strategies.
• Develop and leverage thought leader relationships to meet US Medical Affairs needs.
• Provide medical insights to support development and lifecycle management of Takeda Oncology medicines.
• Lead and contribute to projects within USMAO to increase value and productivity.
• Establish and execute territory engagement plans aligned with medical priorities.
• Collect and document medical insights from field interactions and share with internal stakeholders.
• Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries in line with SOPs.
• Support Takeda Oncology sponsored research and site identification.
• Present accurate, balanced scientific information at meetings and engagements.
