Job summary

AbbVie's clinical development leadership role seeks to steer multiple programs from design through reporting and regulatory submissions. You will lead cross-functional teams, ensure study integrity, and coordinate with Medical Affairs and Commercial functions to align strategies across indications.

The role requires extensive trial experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and excellent English communication skills to drive high-quality scientific outcomes and business impact.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of clinical trial experience in the pharmaceutical industry, academia, or equivalent.
• Ability to run a complex clinical research program independently.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to lead across a global team.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, analysis, interpretation and reporting of clinical development programs.
• Oversee study enrollment, timelines and data integrity across multiple trials.
• Coordinate with Medical Affairs, Commercial and other functions to align on strategy.
• Ensure regulatory submissions and responses are prepared with high quality.
• Act as clinical lead and engage with external opinion leaders as needed.
