Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a senior clinical development leader to design and drive complex clinical programs across therapeutic areas. You will oversee investigators, ensure data integrity, and coordinate regulatory submissions with global teams.

The role requires MD/DO with substantial trial experience, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of clinical trial methodology and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to run complex, independent clinical research programs.
• Experience leading cross-functional global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of multiple clinical development programs.
• Mentor clinical study teams and ensure study integrity and timelines.
• Own scientific content such as protocols, CSRs, and regulatory submissions.
• Hire, onboard and develop Medical/Scientific staff; manage directors/scientists.
• Coordinate translational strategies and external scientific interactions.
