Job summary

AbbVie in the United States is seeking a senior clinical development leader to direct and interpret clinical trials across programs. This role drives study design, data interpretation, and regulatory submissions with cross-functional teams.

You will guide investigators, ensure timelines, monitor safety, and maintain scientific rigor while aligning with product strategy. Strong English communication, leadership, and extensive trial methodology knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (MD) or DO, or non-US equivalent with relevant specialty.
• Residency strongly preferred; subspecialty fellowship desirable.
• Minimum 5 years (7 preferred) of clinical trial experience.
• Experience with immune redirecting therapies such as T-cell engagers desirable.
• Ability to run a complex clinical research program independently.
• Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads and owns design, analysis, and reporting of clinical study protocols and regulatory submissions.
• Oversees study teams, ensures enrollment timelines, and monitors safety data.
• Represents clinical development in cross-functional leadership groups and CSTs.
• Interacts with external stakeholders to support regulatory discussions and literature strategy.
• Ensures adherence to GCP, pharmacovigilance, and quality standards.
