Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Production / Plant Manager to own and optimize day-to-day manufacturing operations at a Pennsylvania facility. This senior, hands-on role covers production, quality, safety, workforce performance and operational efficiency.

You will lead daily fabrication activities, develop supervisors, drive schedules, and strengthen accountability across the site, collaborating with engineering, project management and procurement to deliver results.

Qualifications

• Experience leading structural steel fabrication operations.
• Proven track record as Plant/Production/Fabrication Manager.
• Strong leadership of shop-floor teams and supervisors.
• Solid understanding of fabrication processes and production planning.
• Demonstrated focus on safety, quality and performance.
• Experience driving productivity and throughput improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day structural steel fabrication operations.
• Manage and develop supervisors and production teams.
• Drive production schedules, throughput and labour efficiency.
• Maintain high standards across quality and safety.
• Plan labour, equipment and material requirements.
• Identify and eliminate production bottlenecks.
• Reduce rework and improve overall shop performance.
• Establish and monitor operational KPIs.
• Work closely with engineering, project management and procurement.
• Develop frontline leaders and strengthen accountability across the facility.
