Job summary

The role requires leading shop-floor teams, driving schedules and coordinating with engineering and procurement to ensure on-time delivery and continuous improvement.

An established structural steel fabrication business is looking for an experienced Production / Plant Manager to take ownership of day-to-day manufacturing operations at one of its Pennsylvania facilities.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership position with responsibility across production, quality, safety, workforce performance and operational efficiency.

The Role

• Lead day-to-day structural steel fabrication operations
• Manage and develop supervisors and production teams
• Drive production schedules, throughput and labour efficiency
• Maintain high standards across quality and safety
• Plan labour, equipment and material requirements
• Identify and eliminate production bottlenecks

What We're Looking For

• Strong background within structural steel or heavy fabrication
• Previous experience as a Plant Manager, Production Manager, Fabrication Manager
• Significant experience leading shop-floor teams and supervisors
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes, production planning and workflow
• Proven focus on safety, quality and operational performance
• Experience improving productivity, efficiency and throughput
