Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group seeks an experienced operations leader for a structural steel fabrication facility in the region. You will partner with the Plant Manager and site leadership to align production with schedules, safety, and financial goals, driving efficiency and performance.

Qualifications

10+ years of leadership experience within structural steel fabrication or heavy industrial manufacturing.
Strong understanding of fabrication processes, production scheduling, and manufacturing operations.
Experience managing KPIs, budgeting, forecasting, and operational performance.
Proven ability to develop Plant Managers and operational leadership teams.
Experience driving continuous improvement and operational efficiencies within a fabrication environment.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Plant Manager and site leadership to achieve production, quality, safety, and financial goals.
Coordinate production planning and scheduling activities to maximise efficiency and meet customer expectations.
Monitor operational KPIs and implement initiatives that improve productivity, quality, and overall performance.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, resource optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Coach and develop Plant Managers, Foremen, and department leaders while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
