Job summary

Lillibridge Healthcare Services in Baltimore is seeking a Chief Maintenance Engineer to oversee all maintenance for an off-campus medical office building. You will supervise repairs, manage a preventative maintenance program, and ensure safe, reliable operation of building systems including HVAC, boilers, lighting and fire/life safety equipment.

This position requires 7–10 years of related experience, a Maryland Stationary Engineer license (2nd grade) with 1st grade preferred, and the ability to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; two-year college/technical school preferred.
• Maryland 2nd Grade Stationary Engineer license required; 1st Grade preferred.
• CFC handling certification preferred.
• Must be located in Baltimore, MD area with after-hours emergencies and on-call rotation.
• Ability to read/understand blueprints and CAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with General Manager to design, implement, and manage a preventive maintenance program and work order system.
• Oversee routine repairs and preventive maintenance on building equipment and systems.
• Respond to tenant calls and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Perform daily rounds of buildings to maintain a safe environment.
• Direct and train maintenance personnel; supervise performance and budgeting activities.
• Assist with annual budgets and monitor adherence to targets.
• Respond to emergencies per department policies; participate in energy-saving initiatives.
