Job summary

Lillibridge Healthcare Services is seeking a Chief Maintenance Engineer to lead maintenance for an off-campus medical office building in Baltimore, MD. You will manage preventive maintenance, supervise staff, and coordinate with the General Manager on budgets and capital projects.

The role requires an engineering license, healthcare or hospital environment experience, and compensation ranging with base salary plus incentives; on-call duties and after-hours emergencies are expected as part of the

Qualifications

Maryland 2nd Grade Stationary Engineer license is required; 1st Grade preferred.
CFC handling certification preferred.
Must be located in Baltimore, MD area with after-hours availability for emergencies and on-call rotation.
On-site, five days a week; valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with General Manager to design, implement, and manage a computerized preventive maintenance program and work order system.
Oversee operation and performance of repairs and preventive maintenance on building equipment and systems.
Respond to tenant calls and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
Perform daily rounds to maintain a safe and pleasant environment.
Oversee documentation of work orders and prepare required reports.
Schedule daily tasks, preventive maintenance, and projects with maintenance staff.
Coordinate testing and inspections per regulatory standards; manage vendor and contractor activities.
Lead energy savings initiatives and oversee capital expenditure recommendations.
