Job summary

SWK Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Tier III Engineer to join a team delivering advanced IT support for clients both remotely and on-site.

The role focuses on resolving escalations, managing cloud and on-prem infrastructures, and maintaining secure, high-performing systems. You will administer Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID, support cybersecurity initiatives, and lead infrastructure upgrades and migrations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Tier III systems administration, network engineering, or advanced infrastructure support.
• Strong experience administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, and related Microsoft cloud technologies.
• Working knowledge of Azure services and cloud infrastructure.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide walk-up, phone, and ticket-based technical support to end users.
• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues involving servers, networks, cloud services, endpoints, applications, and security.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Azure and Entra ID, including user accounts, licensing, access management, and security-related requests.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives, including MFA, endpoint protection, access controls, patching, vulnerability remediation, and security-related incidents.
• Lead or participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, system deployments, and other client technology projects.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation, system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and client environment records.
• Work within the Halo PSA ticketing environment to document incidents, resolutions, escalations, and technical work.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding complex technical issues, recommendations, resolutions, and next steps.
