Job summary

SWK Technologies, Inc. in Metairie, LA is seeking a Tier III Engineer to resolve escalations and administer Microsoft Azure, 365, and Entra ID, ensuring client IT systems are stable, secure, and high-performing.

You will provide walk-up, phone, and ticket-based support, lead infrastructure upgrades, document solutions, and communicate complex issues to clients, within a managed services framework that includes on-site and remote engagements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Tier III systems administration, network engineering, or advanced infrastructure support.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, and related Microsoft cloud technologies.
• Working knowledge of Azure services and cloud infrastructure.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Professionalism with confidential information handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide walk-up, phone, and ticket-based technical support to end users.
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex issues involving servers, networks, cloud services, endpoints, applications, and security.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, including user accounts, licensing, access management, and security-related requests.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives, including MFA, endpoint protection, access controls, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
• Lead or participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, deployments, and client technology projects.
• Maintain technical documentation and client environment records.
• Document incidents, resolutions, escalations, and work in Halo PSA.
• Communicate with clients regarding complex issues, recommendations, and resolutions.
