Job summary

Rowan Digital Infrastructure seeks a senior energy leader to own natural gas strategy for a growing portfolio of data center campuses. You will negotiate firm transportation and gas supply contracts, structure interconnections, and develop hedging strategies to manage price risk.

The role requires 12+ years in gas infrastructure for large industrial loads, and 5+ years with gas utilities or pipelines. This is a hybrid Denver/Seattle position with strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, construction management, real estate, or similar.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years in natural gas infrastructure development for large industrial or critical loads.
• 5+ years partnering with gas utilities, pipelines, or energy developers.
• Experience negotiating gas service agreements and capacity reservations.

Responsibilities

• Own Rowan's portfolio-wide natural gas strategy to ensure reliable, scalable fuel supply for data center power generation.
• Lead negotiation of firm transportation, supply agreements, and capacity reservations through execution.
• Design innovative gas delivery solutions and hedge against commodity price risk.
• Own adoption of emergent generation technologies and build commercial cases from pilots to deployment.
• Develop gas data analytics and market intelligence to accelerate site screening and decisions.
• Collaborate across engineering, construction, legal, and finance to deliver infrastructure on time and within budget.
• Shape site selection by assessing gas availability, cost, timing, and reliability; align with power and sustainability goals.
• Present investment cases to executive leadership and the Board; mentor team members.
