Job summary

Kinekta seeks a Director / Senior Director to lead the identification, development and delivery of large-scale data center campuses across the United States, focusing on projects with dedicated or co-located CCGT power generation.

You will oversee market and site identification, land acquisition, power strategy, permitting, interconnection, commercial structuring, approvals, and financial close through construction start.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience in large-scale infrastructure, energy, data centers, power generation or a closely related sector.
• Demonstrated track record of taking complex infrastructure projects from early-stage concept through permitting, commercial structuring, and financial investment decision.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate strategic locations for hyperscale data center campuses.
• Lead the development strategy for dedicated power generation supporting data center campuses, including CCGT facilities and associated balance-of-plant infrastructure.
• Develop integrated data center + power-generation strategies for each target market.
• Lead the development approval strategy from early feasibility through Ready-to-Build.
• Develop project business plans, budgets, and development schedules.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experiencedData Center Development Director / Senior Directorto lead the identification, development and delivery of large-scale data center campuses across the United States, with a particular focus on projects supported bydedicated or co-located natural gas-fired generation, including Combined-Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for taking projects from initial market and site identification through land acquisition, power strategy, permitting, utility/interconnection, commercial structuring, development approvals, and ultimately financial close and construction commencement.

This is a highly strategic role requiring an individual who understands the intersection ofdata center development, power generation, natural gas infrastructure, transmission, utilities, permitting, land, capital and hyperscale customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development strategy for dedicated power generation supporting data center campuses, includingCCGT facilities and associated balance-of-plant infrastructure..
