Job summary

Amazon AWS Energy Team is seeking a Fuel Delivery Manager to lead natural gas infrastructure projects that fuel AWS data centers across regions. You will manage EPC vendors, regulators, and utilities, coordinating with engineering, real estate, and planning teams to deliver reliable gas supply and cost savings.

The role requires strong project execution, risk management, and stakeholder collaboration, with up to 20% domestic travel and a focus on timely datacenter delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds.
• Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to natural gas infrastructure (i.e., pipelines, metering and regulation, compression, gas quality)

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple EPC vendors, gas utilities, pipeline operators, and Owner’s Engineers to deliver a portfolio of in-flight natural gas infrastructure projects including pipelines, laterals, metering and regulation (M&R) stations, and interconnect facilities.
• Oversee the permitting, construction, and commissioning of natural gas infrastructure to ensure on-time delivery aligned with datacenter commissioning schedules.
• Proactively identify, flag, and mitigate risks to project schedules, communicating impacts to datacenter delivery timelines to internal stakeholders.
• Manage capital budgets for natural gas infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams and gas utilities on the implementation and management of fuel infrastructure projects in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Coordinate project schedule and risks with internal teams to ensure data center build timeline is informed by gas delivery.
• Identify and develop innovative cost-saving projects and initiatives related to natural gas infrastructure and supply.
• Work with gas utility regulators, pipeline operators, and permitting agencies to develop policies and guidelines that enable broader AWS strategies and objectives.
