Job summary

Cox Fleet seeks a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced diagnostics on light to heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field setting. You will serve as a lead on jobsites and communicate with customers to ensure timely, quality repairs.

The role requires ASE certifications and DOT compliance, plus top-notch tools, safety mindset, and the ability to manage parts and documentation while traveling between sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 3 years in related field or 5 years in related field.
• At least 3 years with refrigerated equipment.
• Own set of hand tools required; OEM training preferred.
• DOT/FMCSA requirements plus DOT medical card or active DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM inspections and DOT inspections on trucks in mobile environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling and engine systems.
• Document work and upload RO photos via TRAIT app on company device.
• Coordinate with customers and manage parts on service trucks.
