Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced professional to plan, manage, and execute on-site equipment rental programs for projects across San Antonio and beyond. You will train, onboard, and lead daily management of OERP, coordinating with project teams and rental vendors to ensure efficient use and movement of construction equipment.

The role requires strong logistics, vendor management, and cost forecasting skills, with extensive travel to project sites and yards to support operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 6 years in construction rentals, logistics, equipment, or warehouse management.
• Working knowledge of construction equipment, jobsite logistics, and equipment maintenance requirements.
• Financial acumen: P&L, cost control, and budget forecasting.
• Active listening and responsive follow-up skills.
• Highly organized to manage OERP on site or yard, supporting operations.
• Ability to apply analytical thinking to complex decisions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as point of contact for project teams and on-site rental vendors to understand, confirm, manage and implement equipment needs, and implementations.
• Visit project sites to establish presence with stakeholders to manage on-site equipment requirements, maintenance, and transition of construction equipment to/from yard.
• Contribute to on-site equipment rental program preconstruction efforts, including vendor interviews, bidding, leveling, and awarding bids; promote inclusiveness for vendor consideration.
• Manage vendor equipment costs and trends; track economic impacts to forecasting and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Contribute to project cost control, budgeting, and forecasting for equipment operations reporting.
• Provide exceptional customer service and timely communication with stakeholders and vendors for relationship development and service excellence.
• Contribute to safety culture, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Provide support for on-site equipment rental software and inventory/contract management systems; drive user adoption and adherence.
• Monitor utilization and vendor invoicing accuracy for on-site equipment programs.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships to promote reliability and high service standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
