Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a seasoned On-site Equipment Rental Programs leader to direct and develop OERP teams on major projects. You will ensure safe, efficient equipment use and superior service to project teams and vendors across sites.

You will coach staff, optimize staffing, and implement SOPs while partnering with Finance/Operations to monitor metrics and drive improvements. Strong leadership and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years in construction rentals, logistics, equipment, or warehouse management.
• Experience with on-site equipment rental programs (OERP) operations.
• Strong leadership and coaching ability for high-performing teams.
• Knowledge of safety, project staffing, vendor coordination, and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site OERP teams to deliver consistent program execution across projects.
• Develop staffing plans and coverage strategies for ongoing OERP support.
• Coach, mentor, and provide performance feedback; conduct check-ins and jobsite observations.
• Train new OERP personnel on standard work, safety, documentation, and customer service.
• Ensure consistent application of OERP procedures: requests, check-in/out, inspections, returns.
• Oversee on-site equipment logistics: yard layout, staging, tagging, utilization tracking, movement.
• Maintain SOPs and use OERP tools to drive operational consistency.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend process/tool/training improvements.
• Review metrics with Program Manager/Finance/Operations; identify trends and actions.
• Provide field feedback on vendor costs/risks to inform program decisions.
• Champion safety culture among staff, project teams, and vendors.
• Promote accountability, responsiveness, and customer service across OERP activities.
• Serve as liaison between field operations, vendors, and OERP Program Manager.
• Visit project sites and rental facilities to assess execution and opportunities.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and timely communication with stakeholders.
