Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced on-site equipment rental program manager to lead FEC OERP on project sites, coordinating with project teams and rental vendors to optimize equipment use, movement, and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 6 years of experience in construction rentals, logistics, equipment, or warehouse management.
• Working knowledge of construction equipment, jobsite logistics, and equipment maintenance requirements.
• Financial principles, Profit & Loss, cost control, and budget forecasting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to manage on-site programs and stakeholders.
• Familiar with equipment rental software and P2P systems; experience with continuous improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Serve as point of contact for project teams and rental vendors to understand and implement equipment needs.
• Visit project sites to manage on-site equipment requirements and transition to/from yard.
• Contribute to preconstruction efforts including vendor interviews, bidding, and awards.
• Manage vendor equipment costs, track forecasts, and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Support cost control, budgeting, and forecasting for equipment operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and timely communication with stakeholders and vendors.
• Contribute to safety culture and continuous improvement on projects.
• Support end-user systems troubleshooting for rental software and contract management.
• Monitor equipment utilization and vendor billing, ensuring invoice accuracy.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships to ensure reliability and high service standards.
