Responsibilities

• Perform ESXi upgrades and OS patching.
• Clean up decommissioned server VMs and optimize storage.
• Troubleshoot ESXi storage and Veeam backup issues.
• Upgrade Windows Server 2012 to Windows Server 2022/2025.
• Assist with application upgrades and support.
• Support storage upgrades, replacements, and end-of-life migrations.
• Work independently with minimal supervision on infrastructure projects.

We are looking for a Systems / VMware Administrator to provide hands-on infrastructure support at our Skokie location. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with VMware ESXi, Veeam, physical storage, Windows servers, and domain/file-share permissions. This role will primarily focus on infrastructure administration, server upgrades, patching, storage and backup support, and assisting with application upgrades.
