Job summary

Accendra Health in the United States seeks a Windows/VMware System Administrator to support VMware vSphere environments (6.5+), Windows Server 2012+ and related infrastructure. The role emphasizes on-site work with a 24x7 on-call schedule to ensure uptime and rapid issue resolution.

Responsibilities include deployment, upgrade planning, AD/DNS/TCP/IP, storage systems (IBM V7k, Pure Storage, NetApp), PowerShell automation, and collaboration with internal teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a Windows/VMware System Administrator.
• Experience developing, documenting, deploying and maintaining Windows golden OS images.
• Experience developing effective monitoring and alerting to assure system uptime.
• High level troubleshooting skills at OS, virtualization and hardware layer.
• Understanding of networking topology and protocols.
• Clear and concise communications, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of AI Agents is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience for VMware vSphere Suite, versions 6.5 and up.
• Hands-on experience for Windows Server versions 2012 and up.
• Good understanding of VMware VCF/VSAN/NSX.
• Knowledge on VMware Aria Universal Suite will be added advantage.
• Patch management automation and troubleshooting.
• Experience in COTS/GOTS/FOSS software installations.
• Plan, deploy, install, and upgrade OS and applications.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP and Office services.
• Create detailed system documentation and operation guides.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams for complex issue resolution.
