Crossland Construction Company is seeking a superintendent with verifiable work experience and a bachelor’s degree in construction management or equivalent. You will oversee the work of the assistant superintendent, field engineers, craft workers, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule and within budget by tracking variances and cost projections.

The role requires coordinating all trades, maintaining safety culture, liaising with owners, design teams, and vendors, and ensuring adherence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in construction management or equivalent required.
• Verifiable superintendent experience and ability to keep projects on schedule and on budget.
• Drug screen, physical and criminal background check required.

Responsabilités

• Organizes, coordinates, and supervises the work of the assistant superintendent, field engineers, craft employees, and all subcontractors on construction projects.
• Determines work priorities and coordinates activities to keep the project efficient and on schedule.
• Oversees the terms and conditions of construction contracts.
• Apportions work among employees and subcontractors and coordinates workflows between trades.
• Introduces new trades to the project and collaborates with management of trades to align with plans and specs.
• Maintains a culture of safety and holds individuals accountable for safe behavior, with regular safety meetings.
• Liaises with the owner and coordinates plans and construction activities with the owner.
• Sources materials and coordinates deliveries to match construction progress and stores materials per manufacturer recommendations.
• Maintains inventory and control over tools, materials, and equipment.
• Writes and maintains daily project records and reports.
• Holds weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors on site and plans workflow, safety, staffing, and material needs.
• Manages the overall project schedule and prepares short-term interval schedules for all trades.
• Ensures quality control and adherence to plans, specifications, and codes; coordinates inspections and testing.
• Maintains project budget and productivity of labor; manages equipment and rental usage.
• Coordinates project closeout, ensures all punch list items are completed, and owner satisfaction.
• Mentors subordinates and provides performance feedback.
