Job summary

Aureate is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to oversee all on-site operations for diverse commercial construction projects in Michigan. You will supervise field activities, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, enforce safety protocols, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high-quality results.

The role requires strong leadership, blueprint literacy, and proficiency in construction management software, along with OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of construction experience with at least 4 in a supervisory role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
• OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain.
• Must pass a pre-employment medical examination, drug screen, background check, and reference checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all on-site construction activities and personnel.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, materials, and inspections.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure OSHA compliance and local codes.
• Monitor timelines and budgets, reporting progress to the project manager.
• Interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Lead on-site meetings with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Maintain detailed daily logs and project documentation.
