Job summary

AUREATE in Florida is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the Project Superintendent on commercial construction sites such as office buildings, retail, and medical facilities. You will coordinate trades, enforce safety, and ensure projects meet schedule and quality targets.

The role requires five-plus years in construction with supervisory experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with Procore or similar tools. OSHA 30 certification is preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in construction with supervisory experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
• Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
• OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Site Management: supervise daily field work, coordinate trades, and track project schedules.
• Safety Oversight: lead weekly safety meetings, enforce OSHA rules, and complete hazard logs.
• Documentation: maintain daily work logs, update project drawings, and track issues.
• Quality Control: inspect workmanship and manage punch lists through final closeout.
• Communication: connect field crews, subcontractors, and project managers to resolve problems quickly
