Job summary

Aureate Group is seeking a Project Superintendent to oversee all on-site operations for commercial construction projects in Oakland. You will supervise field activities, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires a decade of construction experience, including several years in supervision, with strong leadership and communication skills. Proficiency with Procore or similar PM software is expected, along with OSHA 30 certification or willingness

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction with at least 4 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
• Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project)
• OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
• Must pass pre-employment medical, drug screen, background, and references
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal right to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities and personnel.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, materials, and inspections.
• Enforce safety regulations and OSHA compliance.
• Monitor timelines and budgets, report progress to project manager.
• Interpret and implement drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Resolve field issues to minimize delays.
• Maintain daily logs and project documentation.
• Lead on-site meetings with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure proper maintenance and security of site and equipment.
